With the 'Habitats' project, we try to show photographically which plants (flora) and animals (fauna) thrive and live together (biocoenosis) in certain environments (habitats, biotopes) and altitudes. If possible, we also show the relationships and dependencies between the species. Read more...
The habitats documented by us are all located in parts of the Swiss Alps (same perimeter as www.SwissGlaciers.org), the Swiss Prealps and the Swiss Midlands. We visit some habitats several times a year, while we visit others only every few years.
